Developing Language Skills

Over the past few months, a selected group of employees completed an intensive three-month English language course through the Preply learning platform. This online platform connects students with tutors from around the world and allows lessons to be tailored to each participant’s individual needs and schedule.

Throughout the course, employees regularly worked on improving their communication skills, expanding their vocabulary, and practicing the use of English in both everyday and professional situations. For many participants, the program also provided an opportunity to step outside their comfort zone and gain greater confidence when communicating in a foreign language.

The program culminated in an internal meeting conducted entirely in English. This gave participants the opportunity to demonstrate their newly acquired knowledge and skills in practice. The meeting confirmed that their dedication throughout the course had produced visible results and that they were ready to use English more confidently in the workplace.

The positive experience from the first round of the program reinforced our belief that investing in employee development is worthwhile. We are therefore pleased that a new round of language training has followed the successful completion of the initial course. A new English course is currently underway, involving additional colleagues from various departments across the company.
