Excursion at the company for high school students on the topic of Industrial Automation.
Last week, two excursions took place back-to-back for Střední Průmyslovou školu a Střední odbornou školu in Česká Lípa. The aim of the event was to familiarize students with the technologies and processes involved in production and to showcase one of the company’s final products—a semi-automatic production line. This technology was designed for a domestic customer for assembling a robotic lawn mower, which can complete the entire assembly in under a minute.
Thanks to the timing of the excursion just before the technology was delivered to the customer, we were able to demonstrate the entire manufacturing process directly at the machine, allowing the students to try out individual tasks on the line.
The excursion began with an introductory speech about the company given by HR Manager Alena Krofiánová. Following that, designer Jan Martínek presented the technological concept of the line, including the 3D machine, and explained the functions and benefits for production efficiency. The students had the opportunity to see how these technologies simplify complex manufacturing processes and how the entire machine was developed.
After the presentation, an open discussion took place, allowing students to ask questions freely.
