Installation Mexico - challenge and success of the team - first three weeks
Installation Mexico - challenge and success of the team - first three weeks
After arriving in Mexico, the team, consisting of project manager Martin Dohnal and a team of mechanics and electricians Tomáš Zeman, Jiří Štetina, Ladislav Málek and Miroslav Horák, immediately got to work. The installation itself was not the only major task. During the stay, it was necessary to coordinate communication between us, the customer and our local service partner for the Central America region. Coordinating between the three different teams was a tough challenge.
During the installation, we had to face demanding conditions in the form of high temperatures and dust. Among other things, cultural differences and different work habits of local workers had to be dealt with. However, our colleagues showed determination and the ability to adapt, which led to the harmonization of all processes.
Thanks to the provision of suitable facilities in the hotel with a gym and a swimming pool, we were able to recharge our batteries in our free time. On trips like this, quality rest is very important for good performance in foreign conditions. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent food and joint recreational activities that we organized together with our service partners. Barbecues, visits to local markets, even a trip to the wilderness were all great opportunities to bond and bond with each other.
This project clearly showed that a successful installation is not only about technology and physical work, but also about cooperation, communication, mutual understanding and acceptance of cultural differences.
But our work is far from over. We are waiting for the next phase of the project to fine-tune and optimize the installation.
I would like to thank the entire team for their tremendous commitment and tireless work in challenging conditions. We have shown that we are capable of not only overcoming challenges, but also making the most of them. I look forward to further successful projects and new opportunities that await us.
Martin Dohnal, Project Manager Senior
